The Vestavia Hills Parks & Recreation Foundation has raised at least $130,000 of its $450,000 goal to construct a new Miracle League field at Wald Park, in conjunction with the Community Spaces plan. Read more

The new Wald Park, part of the Community Spaces plan, is designed with the intent to be an attraction for the city along U.S. 31 and will include new ballfields, green spaces, a new swimming pool, an amphitheater and a “great lawn” area. Read more
