On January 20, 2018, twenty-six students, ages twelve through eighteen competed for six Lois Pickard scholarships in three categories, Piano, Strings and Brass-Woodwind-Percussion, at Birmingham Southern College. Read more


Cece Ferguson, a fourth grader at Vestavia Hills Elementary Central, competed in the International Cinderella Scholarship Pageant in Dallas, Texas this past July. Read more

Sarah Kezar, a veterinary student at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, is one of 100 doctoral students nationwide selected to receive a $15,000 Scholar Award from the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She was sponsored by Chapter P of Birmingham. Read more
