Dr. Clayton Browne, who grew up in Homewood and now lives in Vestavia, opened the new office in fall 2018 after graduating from the UAB School of Dentistry, first in 2015 and later returning for a certificate in orthodontics. Read more

The Pizitz Middle School wrestling team won the Metro South championship on Feb. 2, edging out Thompson and Oak Mountain to pick up the team victory. Read more

The reigning Miss Alabama Outstanding Team, Collins McMurray, visited a group of Pizitz Middle School students with an eye for fashion in October. Read more

In April, Pizitz middle school student Sarvagna Velidandla won first place in the All-Girls Alabama State tournament, qualifying her for the national tournament. Read more
