Discovery Cart
The Discovery Cart at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens has a new look thanks to VHHS students.
A group of students in Eleanor Rushing’s Art 3 class at Vestavia Hills High School decorated the “Discovery Cart” at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
The cart is a portable classroom used during the Gardens’ Discovery Field Trips and award-winning, curriculum based educational program that provides free science education to Birmingham area children in grades K-6.
Students participating in the project are Soojung Kim, Alicia Hawley, Kathryn Stalnaker, Zeke Ketcham and Hannah Grace Davis.
