Vestavia Hills Police Department detectives are investigating an alleged road rage incident and assault that occurred at the Cahaba Heights Starbucks.
Police reported the road rage incident occurred on U.S. 280 on Friday, May 27 around 6:45 a.m. It then evolved into an assault, police report, which occurred in the Starbucks parking lot.
The suspect is a white male with thinning brown hair, between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-5 and between 230 and 250 pounds. He was reportedly driving a late-model, maroon Chevrolet Avalanche with a ladder rack. The vehicle also had a black ladder and squeegee in the cargo area, which police report indicate the suspect may have a window cleaning or general cleaning service.
