After 13 years of service, Dr. Jamie Blair has announced his retirement as Vestavia Hills Schools Superintendent. The Board of Education is currently in the process of searching for a candidate to assume the position beginning October 2015. The new superintendent will oversee an annual budget of $70,000.000 and a total of 6,783 students.
Below is the upcoming candidate interview schedule. All interviews will take place in Rooms 202-203 at the Vestavia Hills Board of Education.
