VHHS graduate Brad Blount will be sharing his story of addiction and recovery at the breakfast.
The Addiction Prevention Coalition will host a "Wake Up" breakfast on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 8-9 a.m. at the Vestavia Country Club.
The breakfast will focus on drug and alcohol culture among youth and how to better prevent substance abuse. Students and parents will share what is going on with the culture inside schools and how to effectively communicate prevention. VHHS graduate Brad Blount will be sharing his story of addiction and recovery at the breakfast.
The Addiction Prevention Coalition is a grassroots organization that helps to prevent substance abuse by fostering community collaborations, facilitating student led drug prevention programs and expanding access to services across the state of Alabama.
