Sprouts Farmers Market will partner up with Snagajob this week to help hire 150 employees for its new Vestavia Hills store. Snagajob, the hourly hiring experts, will help Sprouts host walk-in interviews Thursday, Feb. 25 from 1-5 p.m. at Holiday Inn, 492 Wildwood Cir N, Homewood.
According to a news release, Sprouts is looking for “experienced grocery employees with a passion for the bakery, meat, produce, vitamin and cashier departments.”
Interested applicants are asked to bring a copy of their resume. Applicants who are unable to attend the hiring event are asked to apply for these positions at Snagajob.com.
Sprouts Farmers Market, which has been under construction for several months, announced it will open its new store at 1031 Montgomery Highway on April 13. The 28,000-square-foot will be the store’s first location in Vestavia Hills.
City Manager Jeff Downes announced news of Sprouts' move into Vestavia Hills during a council meeting in November 2014. Ruby Tuesday and Pizza Hut had previously occupied the space.
