The Vestavia Hills Rebels racked up a whopping 538 yards of offense en route to a 41-14 domination of Shades Valley.
The Rebels (7-1) were led by star running back Jordan Johnson, who ran for 197 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries.
Vestavia quarterback Landon Crowder completed eight passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns,. Crowder's quarterback rating of 228.60 for the game is 100 points higher than Peyton Manning NFL-leading 128.60 rating.
The Rebels averaged an almost unstoppable 9.9 yards per first down, and 28.9 yards per pass completion.
The Vestavia defense was equally as impressive, with ten different players making at least three tackles. Dalton Campbell led the way with eight tackles, two sacks, and 4.5 tackles for loss. Steadman Gully also added eight tackles.
The Rebels played a highly disciplined game, with only one penalty during the entire contest.
Next week, Vestavia travels to renew the longtime rivalry against the Mountain Brook Spartans.
