A little rain couldn't stop the Rebels.
Despite drizzly and gray skies, the roads surrounding Vestavia Hills High School were awash with color Saturday morning, as the school hosted the 2018 Rebel Run.
The event benefited the school's Relay for Life efforts, as well as the pediatric oncology department at Children's of Alabama.
The event included a 5K and one-mile fun run, and runners were showered with colorful powder as they made their trips through the course.
