The Vestavia Hills City Council met for exactly four minutes June 5, having no business before them to vote on.
City Manager Jeff Downes declined to give a report as well.
The council had moved the meeting from June 12 due to the lack of an available quorum on the previously-scheduled date.
While there was no new business, the City Council did introduce several items that will be discussed and voted on at an upcoming meeting:
- A resolution authorizing the installation of a new small-cell technology support structure in the right of way adjacent to 1663 and 1671 Crossgate Drive, 2581 Crossgate Place and 1704 Crosswood Lane
- A resolution annexing 3512 Valley Circle into the city
- A resolution annexing a portion of 2553 Rocky Ridge Road
- A resolution de-annexing a portion of 2551 Rocky Ridge Road in order to allow the construction of two single-family residences to join with a Jefferson County subdivision. The homes would act as a buffer to allow construction of a new office building on the front of 2551 and 2553 Rocky Ridge Road.
