The rivalry between the Vestavia Hills High School Rebels and the Hoover High School Buccaneers is one of the oldest high school rivalries in the state, and it is one of the more highly-anticipated football games of the season. Read more

The annual BBQ the Bucs will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15. The event is free, but school clubs will be selling food and drinks. There will also be a cooking contest for the best chicken, steak and burgers, with school staff serving as judges. Read more
