Vestavia Hills High School senior Anna Moers accepted a full scholarship to swim at Georgia Southern University last week.
Moers signed her National Letter of Intent with Georgia Southern on Thursday, Nov. 12. She is a 2015-16 U.S.A. Swimming All-American and a U.S.A. Junior National Qualifier. In the 2014 Alabama State Championship Swim Met, she placed second overall in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke.
Moers is also captain of this year’s VHHS swim team and will compete in sectionals and the state championship in the next few weeks.
