West Book Fair
On Thursday, April 17, parents of incoming kindergarteners and new students at Vestavia Hills Elementary-West are invited to orientation at 11:30 a.m.
The meeting will last about an hour and will take place in the school gym. Parents will learn about a “day in the life” of a VHEW kindergartener while also meeting the principal, assistant principal, counselor, nurse, and PTO leadership. These individuals will share information about daily schedules, curriculum, and will also take part in a question and answer session.
Parents will be able to purchase kindergarten rest mats, obtain after-school care information, and learn about other necessary preparations for the 2014-2015 school year.
Incoming kindergarteners and new students, along with their parents, are invited inside VHEW during tours taking place Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25, from 8:15 – 8:45 a.m. Parents can sign up for a tour during the orientation meeting.
