The Vestavia Hills City Council will meet next week to interview candidates for the vacancy on the Vestavia Hills Board of Education.
The special work session will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 17, with the first interview beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The interviews will be conducted in the Executive Conference Room at Vestavia Hills City Hall, located at 1032 Montgomery Highway.
Like all work sessions, the interviews are open to the public, but there will be no citizens’ comment period, and space is limited.
The interviews will take place at the following times:
- 7:30 a.m. – Jonathan K. Vickers
- 8:00 a.m. – David Powell
- 8:30 a.m. – Chirayu “Charlie” Shah
- 9:00 a.m. – Pat Dewees
- 9:30 a.m. – Lloyd Peeples III
- 10:00 a.m. – Lisa Baker
- 10:30 a.m. – Janell M. Ahnert
- 11:00 a.m. – Allison E. Maners
- 11:30 a.m. – Thomas W. Parchman III
- 12:30 p.m. – Kimberly B. Cook
- 1:00 p.m. – Kristin Henderson
- 1:30 p.m. – Celia C. Anthony
- 2:00 p.m. – Steve Bendall
- 3:00 p.m. – Jeffrey Dugas
The Council and staff will break from noon until 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
There will also be a regularly-scheduled work session on Monday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. in the Executive Conference Room.
