Thermometers in Vestavia Hills didn't exactly read "soup weather" Monday, but that didn't stop the team at Method Mortgage from enjoying several bowls of chili.
For the second year, the company held a staff chili cook off, where the winner's recipe will be featured as the team recipe for Method Mortgage in the Exceptional Foundation Chili Cook-Off on March 3.
Firm partner and former Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce board chair Roger Steur said that the team will be kicking "Chili #5," which according to employees featured pulled, smoked beef brisket.
