Demolition of the old Vestavia Hills municipal center began on Friday, Jan. 15. The city of Vestavia Hills in November closed on the sale of the property to Chick-fil-A. Net proceeds for the sale were $1,229,371.
The new restaurant is set to open in June 2016.
