Children participate in last year’s Summer Reading Kick-off Party at Library in the Forest.
On Thursday, July 30, the Library in the Forest will hold a Summer Reading Finale event. The event will feature performer Roger Day. After the performance, families are invited to a picnic lunch. The Heavenly Donut truck will also be on site. The event begins at 11 a.m.
“Any reading is good reading in the summer,” Children’s Director April Moon said. “If kids want to revisit books they enjoyed when they were younger, that is encouraged! The point is to keep them reading."
