Joseph C. Oliver
Vestavia Hills police arrested Joseph C. Oliver, 38, after a check of his license plate revealed the vehicle he was driving was stolen on June 13.
At 12:15 a.m. on June 19, night shift patrol officers saw what they believed to be a stranded motorist in the 2000 block of Columbiana Road. After discovering that the car Oliver was driving was reported stolen, Oliver was arrested.
Investigators obtained a felony warrant for Oliver on the charge of receiving stolen property. He is currently at the Vestavia Hills City Jail and will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail.
