Birmingham veteran Noah Galloway and author Sharman Martin will each give presentations at the Library in the Forest on Wednesday, July 22 from 4-6 p.m.
Galloway is a former United States Army soldier and now a motivational speaker. He was injured during the Iraq War, losing his left arm and left leg. He recently appeared on the television show, "Dancing with the Stars." Galloway is featured in Martin’s second book, Bo Meets a Hero.
There will be a short question and answer period following both presentations and then Martin and Galloway will be on hand to sign the book. Books can be purchased at the library both prior and during the event. Due to the limited amount of time for autographs, only books will be signed.
The event is free but tickets are required to attend. Tickets can be picked up in the Children’s Department at the Library in the Forest or reserved by calling 978-0158.
