Detective Sergeant Steve Gurley was named Police Officer of the Year by the Vestavia Hills Sunrise Rotary Club.
Detective Sergeant Steve Gurley with Vestavia Hills Police Department was named recently Police Officer of the Year.
He received the award from the Vestavia Hills Rotary Club. Gurley was recognized for his work that led to arrests in connection to state-wide lawn equipment thefts. Gurley's investigations led to many cleared cases in several jurisdictions.
