City Council member John Henley
This Tuesday, Councilman John Henley plans to host the first of three meet and greets with the goal of updating residents on what is happening in the city and allowing them the chance to ask questions.
"When I was running for Council, I stated I wanted to have periodic meetings with our citizens to answer any questions they may have or bring up any topic," Henley said. "I am trying something a little more formal this year."
Henley is planning to bring a one page sheet updating current projects in the city, speak for ten to fifteen minutes and then open up the floor for questions and comments.
Meet and greet locations and times are as follows:
June 10, 7 p.m. New Merkle House, Cahaba Heights
June 17, 7 p.m. Dogwood Room, Civic Center
June 24, 7 p.m. 4751 Liberty Park Lane, Liberty Park
