The Friends of the Library will host “A Conversation with City Manager Jeff Downes” on Thursday, April 23, at the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest.
Coffee and conversation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the program at 10:30 a.m. Downes will discuss the state of the city and provide updates on current initiatives and issues affecting Vestavia Hills.
The event is free and open to adults ages 18 and older.
