City Council
The Vestavia Hills City Council will consider a resolution for the next fiscal year’s budget at its Sept. 14 meeting.
The resolution includes a general fund budget of more than $32 million, a special revenue budget of $2.5 million, a capital projects fund budget of more than $1 million and a sidewalk projects fund budget of $200,000.
The council also has annexations along Valley Circle, Alta View Drive, Alta Vista Circle and Caldwell Mill Road for consideration on the agenda.
Resolutions approving alcohol licenses for Newks Express Cafe and Twisted Root Burger Co. are also up for consideration, including public hearings.
