Amy Wright, founder of the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee chain, will be the keynote speaker for the Power of Possibilities Luncheon for Glenwood, a nonprofit agency dedicated to supporting children, adolescents and adults with autism and other behavioral health needs.
The luncheon is scheduled for noon on Monday, May 5, at Old Overton Club at 7251 Old Overton Club Drive in Vestavia Hills.
This event will showcase Wright’s journey of advocacy and inclusion while highlighting the impact of meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The Power of Possibilities Luncheon brings together business and community leaders, advocates and supporters for an afternoon of fellowship, a meal and the opportunity to create a lasting impact. Funds raised from the luncheon will directly support Glenwood’s programs for adults with autism and behavioral health needs.
“Amy Wright’s mission aligns perfectly with Glenwood’s vision to cultivate communities where the inherent dignity of people with autism and other behavioral health needs is recognized, and people of all abilities are empowered to thrive,” said Scarlet Thompson, Glenwood’s chief development officer. “Her story is an inspiration, and we are honored to welcome her to the event.”
Community members can support this event by purchasing individual tickets or reserving a table. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available. To secure a spot or learn more, visit glenwood.org/pop.
