Mimi Bittick decided to create an event to raise money and awareness about childhood cancer after her daughter's battle with cancer in 2014-2015. Her daughter is doing well, but there are countless others who still suffer and too many children who are losing their battles. Bittick’s goal is to raise $1 million for pediatric cancer research over the next five years. The Back to School Boogie is one way to support this goal.
