On Saturday, August 25th from 8 a.m. until noon, Gone for Good will be at America’s First Federal Credit Union’s Vestavia Hills’ Branch, shredding documents for a good cause.
There is a suggested minimum donation of $5 per box/bag with the donations going toward the AmFirst Community First campaign, which supports three local charities: Laura Crandall Brown Foundation, Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Boys & Girls Club of Central Alabama.
Gone for Good is a document and e-waste solution company that has a powerful mission to create meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. For over 11 years, Gone for Good has been providing opportunities for learning and earning, preparing their employees for competitive jobs and improving their quality of life.
