The Vestavia Hills Rebels continued their march through a successful 2013 season with a dominant 42-21 victory over Woodlawn.

The Rebels (5-1) erupted for a 28 point second quarter in route to the blowout.  Walker Minor and Jordan Johnson each scored two touchdowns to lead the ground attack.  Christian led the team in rushing with 88 yards and added his own touchdown for the Rebels.

Quarterback Landon Crowder had a perfect passing night for Vestavia, going 5-for-5 for 79 yards and a touchdown.

The Vestavia defense held when it mattered, giving up Woodlawn scores only after the Rebels had amassed a large lead.  No less than fourteen different Rebels defenders made tackles in the effort.

Next week, Vestavia Hills hits the road as it travels for a road game against Carver.
