Rebels to host Spain Park on Friday

The Vestavia Rebels, coming off a 21-14 homecoming win over Thompson last Friday, host the Spain Park Jaguars Friday night at 7 p.m. The Rebels (3-3, 2-2 Class 7A, Region 3) are trying to battle their way into one of the region's four playoff spots. They are currently tied with Tuscaloosa County for the fourth spot in the region. Spain Park (3-3, 1-3) started strong but has lost three games in a row, including last Thursday's 42-14 loss to Hoover.
