Rebels end season with loss to Shades Valley

The Vestavia Rebels football team ended its season with a tough 26-21 loss to Shades Valley. The Rebels ended the season with a 3-7 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2005. It also was the first time the Mounties have beaten the Rebels since 1999. 

The Vestavia Lady Rebels basketball team dropped their season-opener 49-23 to Hoover. Vestavia was led by Renesha Evans' eight points.
