Rebels beat Hartselle to conclude Metro Tournament

Vestavia Hills salvaged a victory in the Metro Tournament, knocking off Hartselle, 56-37, on Saturday night. 

Mac Smith paced the Rebels with 16 points. Mitchell Langley scored 12, via four three-point shots.

Vestavia Hills improves to 7-11 on the season after losses to strong Woodlawn and Midfield teams earlier in the tournament.

Area play begins Tuesday, as Vestavia hosts Mountain Brook. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
