Fourth grade Vestavia Blue Rebels win championship

The fourth grade Vestavia Blue Rebels took home the North Shelby Basketball Association championship with a 10-1 record on the season. Coach Greg Cherry said the Blue Rebels were a fun team to coach. The team has been together for three years, and its hard work started early in the season and continued throughout the playoffs.  

The players worked hard for the championship, Chery said, from the start of practice in November until the end of the season. Cherry said he couldn’t be prouder of the way the players carried themselves on and off the court, representing the city of Vestavia Hills in a first class manner.
