VHHS hosting Eat, Roll, Rebel pre-Homecoming event

As the greater Vestavia Hills High School community gears up for Homecoming week, they will also have the chance to take some time to enjoy food and fellowship in advance of the big game against Helena.

The school is hosting an inaugural "Eat, Roll, Rebel" fundraising event on Thursday, Sept. 22.

The event will include the opportunity to tour the school, which has seen upgrades recently, as well as enjoy student-produced art, see students perform and more.

There are 10 food trucks expected at the event: The Heavenly Donut Company, Eugene's Hot Chicken, Greg's Hot Dogs, Cantina on Wheels, NOLA Ice, Dreamcakes, Lazy Boy BBQ, Repicci's Italian Ice, Snapper Grabbers and Southern Wanderer.

There will also be a raffle, with the chance to win a one-month membership to Lifetime Fitness, a soft-sided Yeti cooler, Birmingham Barons tickets, tickets to the Aubrn vs Alabama A&M game on Nov. 19, OTBT Bushnell shoes and a basket of merchandise from Kidz Closet & More.

Tickets to the event are $5 for students, $5 for teachers and $15 for parents and can be purchased online.
