VHECH wins book drive challenge

Students at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights love to read and love to share with others, so when students recently had the opportunity to combine these two passions, they were thrilled. VHECH won the 2015 Birmingham Reads Book Drive Challenge to collect the most books per student, with more than 6.3 books collected per student. Overall, the challenge collected more than 41,000 books from 15 schools for under-privileged children in the area.
