LPMS students perform with Samford Honor Band

Several Liberty Park Middle School students were selected for the annual Samford Honor Band held Jan. 9-11. To participate, students received a recommendation from LPMS band director Jody Bryant. For the audition, students played five major scales and arpeggios, played a prepared piece and had to sight read. The Samford Middle School Honor Band was segmented into Red and Blue bands.

In addition, four students were selected to participate in the District Honor Band. In April, they will perform a concert at Homewood High School.
