Wing Ding 2016 heats up City Hall

The smell of cooking meat surrounded City Hall on June 4 as teams competed to make the best chicken wing.

Wing Ding is an annual event hosted by Leadership Vestavia Hills. Local businesses fired up grills, fryers and smokers to make the perfect wings and topped them with unique sauces. Wing Ding visitors got to try as many of the wings as they could handle and vote on their favorites.

Wing Ding also included music by Rollin' in the Hay, ice cream from Bruster's, a balloon artist and bounce houses for children.

Principal Mortgage took its second victory in a row in the wing competition, followed by iTAC in second place and Lovette Construction in third.
