Tee It Up Fore Life to support cancer research

The American Cancer Society’s Tee It Up Fore Life Golf Tournament is set to take place Monday, June 13 at Old Overton Club.

The golf tournament starts at 1 p.m. and works to bring together business leaders, clients and prospects to fight cancer and find a cure. The sold-out event will feature 2016 Tee It Up Fore Life honoree Mike Mullen and Circulogene Theranostics.

Mullen, the president and CEO of Circulogene Theranostics, has partnered with the American Cancer Society for this year’s event to help fund research and community services.

The schedule for the day includes registration and an open practice range at 11 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and a cocktail reception and awards ceremony at 5:45 p.m.

Old Overton Club is located at 7251 Old Overton Club Drive in Vestavia Hills.
