GBHS hosts special adoption event

The Greater Birmingham Humane Society hosted an adoption event Thursday in honor of the Just One Day Pledge.

The "Just One Day" Pledge is a national pledge to become a no-kill nation. GBHS honored the pledge by doing as many adoptions as possible, opening for extended hours, offering adoption specials and providing fun and festivities for families.
