Families gather for annual tree lighting
Families and friends bundled up and braved the chilly weather the evening of Nov. 27 to be a part of Vestavia Hills' annual tree lighting event at City Hall.
The tree was lit around 6 p.m., and community performances — including those from the Vestavia Hills Rockettes, Liberty Park Middle School and Louis Pizitz Middle School girls choirs, Magic City Nutcracker, and Liberty Park Singers — took to the stage.
Inside City Hall, attendees were able to take a break to get warm, take a photo with Santa Claus and grab some cookies and hot chocolate.
