VHPD responds to robbery at Miss Myra's Bar-B-Q

At approximately 8:25 p.m. on May 15, VHPD responded to a robbery at Miss Myra's Bar-B-Q located at 3278 Cahaba Heights Road.

Witness/victim accounts describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 6'0, medium build, 40-45 years old, with a greying stubble beard, wearing a ball cap and red baseball style jersey. He was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

The suspect stole cash from the business and personal effects (wallets and cellphones) from several patrons. He then fled on foot. No vehicle description is available.

VHPD later recovered serval of the victims' personal effects discarded in the area of Pipeline Road and Millhaven. At this point, an arrest has not been made.
