VHPD make burglary arrest

On Monday, April 27, at approximately 7:30 a.m., VHPD responded to a burglary in progress in the 2600 block of Southbury Circle. Upon arrival officers determined that the suspect was still inside the residence. Entry was made into the residence and Ryan P. Williams, 21, of Vestavia Hills was arrested without incident. 

Further investigation determined that Williams had committed a previous burglary at the same address on Friday, April 24.

VHPD Investigators obtained two felony warrants through the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office for Burglary 3rd degree on Williams in connection to the listed crimes. Additional charges are pending further investigation, but are anticipated in this case. Williams has been transferred to the Jefferson County Jail and is being held on a $20,000 bond.
