Senior Citizens Day date moved up to Aug. 20

Mayor Ashley Curry said in order to coordinate with the guest speaker, the city’s National Senior Citizen Day Celebration is moving to Aug. 20, up one day from the previously announced Aug. 21 event.

The speaker will still be Eli Gold, and all event times and locations remain the same, Curry said.
