Publix coming to Liberty Park

Publix will be coming to the Marketplace at The Bray at Liberty Park, developers announced on Monday.

Shawn Arterburn, vice president of development for Liberty Park Joint Venture, confirmed the news and said the grocery store is a “much-needed amenity” for residents.

“That’s a huge addition to our live, work, play environment,” Arterburn said.

The two shopping centers, Marketplace at the Bray and Merchant Square at the Bray, help make up the 700-acre development in Liberty Park, some of which has broken ground.

Publix will break ground later this week and is expected to open in early 2020, Arterburn said.
