Police seeking information in Shell gas station robbery

Vestavia Hills police are looking for information about a robbery suspect. VHPD responded to a robbery at the Cahaba Heights Shell Station at 3181 Green Valley Road on Monday, June 29 at 10:23 p.m. Stills from surveillance footage have been provided.

Video from the incident, posted to the VHPD Facebook page, shows the suspect approach the clerk. The suspect said "Give me all the money. I have a gun, and I will shoot you" to the store clerk, according to VHPD. The clerk then opens the register, and the suspect takes out cash. The suspect then told the clerk to leave the store.

The clerk never saw a weapon and was not injured, according to VHPD. There is no vehicle description at this time.
