Police obtain two felony warrants on burglary suspect

Vestavia Hill Police Department obtained two felony warrants on Walter Heath Startley of Lipscomb, and more charges may follow, according to a VHPD Facebook post.

The charges were in connection to two burglaries, one in the 2500 block of Crossgate Trail and one in the 2600 block of Cardinal Circle. Startley was booked into Jefferson County Jail on May 19 at 1:28 p.m., and his bond is set at $17,500, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff Online Inmate Search. Police report the investigation is ongoing, and more charges may be forthcoming.
