Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is participating in Money Smart Week April 5-12.

Money Smart Week is a partnership initiative between the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, with a goal to expand awareness regarding finances across the country. Through this program, libraries will present programs for all ages and all stages of life related to personal financial literacy.

“It is never too early to start learning about the best ways to create good financial habits,” said Pat Ryan, executive director of the Jefferson County Library Cooperative. “With the information provided through Making Cents, anyone in our city and county will have the tools, information and knowledge to navigate a course to financial freedom."
