Felony warrants taken out following credit card fraud

Two suspects were arrested for credit card fraud on June 11.

Vestavia Hills Police Department responded to a report of credit card fraud at the Rite Aid on Crosshaven Drive around 11:45 a.m. VHPD commends an alert employee and prompt response from VHPD day shift patrol for the arrest of the suspects.

Felony warrants on the charges of trafficking in stolen identities and fraudulent use of a credit card were obtained by VHPD investigators on June 12. The warrants are on Clarksville, Tennessee resident Newton Green, 25, and Douglasville, Georgia resident Victoria Reese, 25.

Both Green and Reese are being held at Jefferson County Jail.
