The Vestavia Hills City Council will interview six Vestavia Hills residents seeking to fill the vacancy on the Vestavia Hills Board of Education that will open up this summer.

BOE President Nancy Corona will roll off the board at the end of May, and the new BOE member will attend his or her first meeting in June.

The Council accepted applications through April 9, and had six individuals apply.

Candidates were given an interview date and time based on first-come, first-served.

Schedule:

Thursday, April 12

Tuesday, April 17

Interviews will take place in the Executive Conference Room and are open to the public, though public comment will only occur at the request of the mayor.
