The City of Vestavia Hills is hosting a public-involvement meeting regarding Patchwork Nature Park on Friday, Jan. 22.

The meeting, which will take place at 1 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, will discuss future plans for the park to be located next to Lifetime Fitness and the mixed-use Vestavia Reserve development at Patchwork Farms.

Items to be discussed include the size and type of trails to be built, the other amenities the park will include and potential park funding.

The City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution to apply for a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant for the park at their meeting Monday, Jan. 25. There will be a public hearing at the meeting.
