Vestavia Hills UMC Farmer’s Market starting Wednesday

Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church is kicking off a new Farmer’s Market this Wednesday, May 11.

The market will be open every Wednesday through Sept. 14 from 7-11 a.m. The church’s large parking lot will have vendors with vegetables, fruits, breads, baked goods, cheeses and meats from local producers.

John Sechrist, one of the team leaders for the market, said they chose to start the market because there were no other farmers markets in the area.

VHUMC is located at 2061 Kentucky Avenue.
